How to find your model
The model name, such as D54Q-2U or T42S-2U-4Node, is on the server label and in the BMC web page. The number before U is the height in rack units. The family name tells you the chassis type: QuantaGrid for rack and GPU servers, QuantaPlex for multi-node systems that hold several servers in one chassis, and QuantaEdge for edge servers. Use the model name exactly as printed.
On multi-node systems, memory is installed in each node.

RDIMM or LRDIMM
RDIMMs suit most configurations. LRDIMMs buffer the data lines and carry more total memory per channel, so on DDR4 models they are offered in larger sizes: 64GB and 128GB. A server takes one type, never a mix. DDR5 models in this catalog use RDIMM.
