ECC or non-ECC?
Z4, Z6, Z8 and ZCentral workstations use registered ECC memory. Z2 and Z240 systems take ECC memory with a supporting processor (Xeon, and some Core models) and non-ECC memory otherwise; HP does not support mixing the two. Match what is installed, or replace all modules at once.
