Business Fleet Memory Upgrades: Dell, HP, Lenovo and Acer PCs
Memory upgrades for business, school and government PC fleets, matched model by model to the specification each vendor publishes: generation, module type, speed, slot count and maximum capacity. This page is the starting point for IT teams that manage many machines at once. Pick the lines you run below, or send us a spreadsheet of models and quantities and we will return one quote for the whole fleet.

Listing counts were checked against the live collections on 2026-10-23 and grow as we add models. For every vendor in full, see the Dell memory hub, the HP business PC memory hub and the Lenovo memory hub. All Dell business systems are also grouped in one collection and all HP business systems in one collection.
How a fleet memory upgrade works
- Inventory. List each model (or Service Tag, HP product number or Lenovo machine type) and how many you run. A short spreadsheet is enough.
- Sort by memory type. Laptops, Mini and Tiny desktops and all-in-ones take SODIMM. Small form factor and tower desktops take full-size UDIMM. Workstations may take ECC.
- Find the ones that cannot be upgraded. Many thin laptops use soldered memory, and some newer designs use CAMM2 modules. We list only models with standard socketed memory, so a model that is not in the catalog may be one that cannot be upgraded.
- Standardize. Most fleets end up with a few module part numbers covering dozens of models. We help you reduce the list so spares are easy to stock.
- Pilot, then roll out. Install one machine of each model first, confirm it boots and reports the new capacity, then order the full quantity.
The full process, with a command that reads installed memory on Windows, is in the fleet memory upgrade guide.
Match the module to the machine
- Generation first. DDR4 and DDR5 are keyed differently and do not fit each other's slots. Some models, such as the Dell OptiPlex 7000 Micro, shipped with either, so check what is installed before ordering.
- Form factor second. SODIMM for laptops, Mini, Tiny, Micro and all-in-one models; UDIMM for SFF and tower models.
- Install in matched pairs. Two identical modules run in dual-channel mode on two-slot systems.
- Speed. A faster module runs at the speed the system supports, so mixed fleets can share one module part number where the generation matches.
