NEMIX RAM lists 80 memory modules for NEC Express5800 servers, each matched to an NEC option part number and to the models it fits: 20 DDR5 modules, 54 DDR4 modules and 6 DDR3 modules. This guide sorts them by memory generation so you can go from the model name on your server to the right module. For the full catalog, see the NEC Express5800 memory page or the NEC Express5800 collection.
Reading an Express5800 model name
NEC groups Express5800 servers into lines such as rack (R), tower (T) and blade (B). The final letter of the model name marks the generation, and later letters are newer, from the DDR3-era b, d and e models through the DDR4 f, g, h and i models to the DDR5 j, k and m models. The letter alone does not set the memory type: the entry R110k-1 takes DDR4 ECC UDIMM while the R110k-1M takes DDR5 RDIMM. Suffixes such as -1M, -2M and -1E belong to the model name, so use the name exactly as printed on your server or in its manual. Check the tables below rather than the letter.
NEC option part numbers start with N8102 for most rack and tower servers, N8402 for the B120 blades and N8802 for the R320g. Some DDR5 options have two numbers, such as N8102-F781 and N8102-T781.
DDR5 modules
ECC UDIMM for entry servers (R110m-1, T110m)
NEC specifies DDR5-4400 ECC UDIMM for the Express5800 R110m-1 and T110m. These listings use DDR5-5600 modules, which are backward-compatible and run at 4400 MT/s, the speed the platform supports.

How to choose
- Read the model name from the server label or the NEC manual.
- Find the model in the tables above and note the module type. RDIMM, LRDIMM and ECC UDIMM are not interchangeable.
- Pick a capacity. Install identical modules and fill memory channels evenly.
- Order by NEC part number, or ask us for a quote covering the whole fleet.
For planning a server memory refresh, read the data center memory refresh guide. Other server makers are on the data center and server memory page.

Frequently asked questions
How do I find the NEC memory part number for my server?
Look up your Express5800 model on this page. The NEC part number (for example N8102-711) is in the first column of each table and matches the option number NEC uses. Each part number links to the listing for that module.
Why does the same NEC part number appear under more than one model?
NEC sells one memory option for several models in a family. Where the same part fits both a tower and a rack model, such as the T120h and R120h, each model has its own listing so you can find it by the name on your server.
Can I mix RDIMM and LRDIMM in an Express5800 server?
No. A server takes one type. The tables show which models use RDIMM, LRDIMM or ECC UDIMM.
Why do some DDR5 listings run slower than the module rating?
NEC specifies DDR5-4400 ECC UDIMM for the Express5800 R110m-1 and T110m, so the DDR5-5600 modules listed for those models are backward-compatible and run at 4400 MT/s.
Do you carry older DDR3 Express5800 memory?
Yes. The DDR3 section lists the T120b-E, T120d, T120e, R120d, R120e and B120e.
Do you work from purchase orders and net terms?
Yes. Purchase orders, net terms for approved credit applications and volume pricing are available. Use the quote form to start.
