OnLogic Memory: Karbon, Helix, ML100 and Axial Industrial Computers and Edge Servers
Memory for OnLogic Karbon rugged computers, Helix fanless computers, the ML100 compact PC and Axial and MK edge servers, matched model by model to the memory type, speed, slot count and maximum OnLogic lists. NEMIX RAM has 14 OnLogic listings covering 10 model groups, from a 32GB Atom fanless box to a 192GB AM5 edge server. Type your OnLogic model into the search bar at the top of the page, find it in the tables below, or browse all OnLogic memory.
Find your OnLogic model first
OnLogic model names tell you the class of machine: Karbon K-series rugged fanless computers, Helix HX-series fanless computers, the ML100 compact PC, and Axial AC and AX and MK edge servers. The model decides the memory: a DDR4 SO-DIMM Karbon, a DDR5 SO-DIMM Helix and a DDR5 UDIMM edge server each take a different module, and none of them are interchangeable.
Rugged fanless computers (Karbon)
| Model | Memory | Slots | Maximum | Platform or note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Karbon 800 Series (K801-K804) | DDR4-3200 SODIMM or DDR4-3200 ECC SODIMM | 2 | 64GB | 12th and 13th Gen Core (W680); ECC needs a Core i5 (not i5-12400), i7 or i9 |
| Karbon 700 Series (K700-SE-2 and K700-X2-2) | DDR4-2666 SODIMM or DDR4-2666 ECC SODIMM | 2 | 64GB | 8th and 9th Gen Core and Xeon (C246); ECC depends on the processor |
| Karbon K410 and K430 | DDR4-3200 SODIMM | 2 | 32GB | Intel Atom x6000E series |
| Karbon 520 Series (K521-K524) | DDR5-5600 SODIMM | 2 | 96GB | Intel Core Ultra H-series; up to 48GB per module |
Fanless industrial and compact computers (Helix and ML100)
| Model | Memory | Slots | Maximum | Platform or note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Helix 520 Series (HX521-HX525) | DDR5-5600 SODIMM | 2 | 96GB | Intel Core Ultra H-series; up to 48GB per module |
| Helix HX401 and HX511 | DDR5-4800 SODIMM | 2 | 64GB | 12th Gen Core; runs at 4800 MT/s |
| Helix HX310 and HX330 | DDR4-3200 SODIMM | 2 | 32GB | Celeron N6211 and Pentium J6426 |
| ML100G-56 | DDR5-5600 SODIMM | 2 | 96GB | Intel Core Ultra U-series; up to 48GB per module |
Edge servers (Axial and MK)
| Model | Memory | Slots | Maximum | Platform or note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Axial AC101 | DDR5-4800 UDIMM or DDR5-4800 ECC UDIMM | 4 | 128GB | 13th and 14th Gen Core (W680); platform runs at 4400 MT/s |
| MK101B-43 | DDR5-5600 UDIMM or DDR5-5600 ECC UDIMM | 4 | 192GB | AMD AM5 Ryzen and EPYC 4004 and 4005; 5600 MT/s with one module per channel |
ECC and non-ECC modules are separate listings where the platform supports both: the Karbon 800 and Karbon 700 have ECC SO-DIMM listings, and the Axial AC101 and MK101B-43 have ECC UDIMM listings. The Karbon 410 and 430, Karbon 520, Helix and ML100 listings cover non-ECC modules. Check the processor note in the table first, because ECC support on the Karbon 800 and Karbon 700 depends on the processor installed.
Models we are confirming
OnLogic's own pages for the MK200-71 and the Axial AX301, AX303 and AX304 give differing slot counts and capacity figures, so we are confirming the memory configuration with OnLogic before listing them. If you run one of these, send us the model number and we will match the module.
Rules that apply across OnLogic industrial products
- SO-DIMM or UDIMM. The Karbon, Helix and ML100 computers take laptop-size SO-DIMMs. The Axial AC101 and MK101B-43 take full-size UDIMMs. They are not interchangeable.
- DDR4 or DDR5. The two generations are keyed differently and will not fit each other's slots. The Karbon 800, Karbon 700, Karbon 410 and 430 and Helix HX310 and HX330 are DDR4; the rest are DDR5.
- Speed follows the platform. Modules run at the speed the processor and board support. The Helix HX401 and HX511 run DDR5 at 4800 MT/s, the Axial AC101 at up to 4400 MT/s, and the MK101B-43 at 5600 MT/s with one module per channel and 3600 MT/s with two, so faster modules run at those speeds on those models.
- Populate matched modules. Run identical modules in a multi-module setup. Do not mix ECC and non-ECC modules.
- Check the processor. ECC and maximum capacity can depend on the processor option you ordered. The model page for your configuration lists what it supports.
Why NEMIX RAM for OnLogic memory
NEMIX RAM is a US-based memory specialist, in business since 1993. Every module is researched, matched, and compatibility-tested by NEMIX RAM, is JEDEC-compliant, and is backed by a lifetime warranty. Each OnLogic listing names the exact model it fits and states the slot count and maximum OnLogic lists for it. NEMIX RAM is an independent memory supplier and is not affiliated with OnLogic. OnLogic and the model names above are trademarks of their respective owners, used here only to identify compatible systems.
Integrators, factory automation and edge deployments
OnLogic computers go into factory automation, machine vision, transport, kiosks, digital signage and edge computing deployments, usually in fleets. Purchase orders, net terms and volume pricing are available for system integrators, OEM builders, resellers, schools and government buyers. Request a quote for a deployment, or send us your OnLogic model numbers and we will confirm the right module before you order. The wider industrial range is on the industrial and embedded memory page.
Frequently asked
Does my OnLogic fanless computer take laptop or desktop memory?
The Karbon, Helix and ML100 computers we list take SO-DIMMs, the laptop-size module: DDR4 on the Karbon 800, Karbon 700, Karbon 410 and 430 and Helix HX310 and HX330, and DDR5 on the Karbon 520, Helix 520, Helix HX401 and HX511 and ML100G-56. Desktop UDIMMs will not fit. The Axial AC101 and MK101B-43 take UDIMMs.
Can I use ECC memory in my OnLogic computer?
Where OnLogic lists ECC, there is an ECC listing: the Karbon 800 and Karbon 700 (ECC SODIMM, processor dependent) and the Axial AC101 and MK101B-43 (ECC UDIMM). The other listed models take non-ECC memory.
How much memory can I install?
Each listing states the slot count and the maximum OnLogic lists for that model: 32GB on the Karbon 410 and 430 and Helix HX310 and HX330, 64GB on the Karbon 800, Karbon 700, Helix HX401 and HX511, 96GB on the Karbon 520, Helix 520 and ML100G-56, 128GB on the Axial AC101 and 192GB on the MK101B-43.
Do you list wide-temperature memory?
The listings here are for standard JEDEC modules. If your deployment needs wide-temperature memory, contact us before you order and we will check what we can supply.
