NEMIX RAM memory upgrades for the HP Z8 G4 Workstation: DDR4-2933 PC4-23400 ECC Load-Reduced (LRDIMM) modules, 64GB and 128GB, sold as single modules and matched kits of up to 16, selected as drop-in, compatibility-tested replacements. 1.2V, 288-pin, JEDEC-compliant.
The HP Z8 G4 Workstation is built for one or two Intel Xeon Scalable (1st/2nd Gen) processors. It has 24 DDR4 DIMM slots and supports up to 3TB with 128GB LRDIMMs or 1.5TB with 64GB RDIMMs. HP lists DDR4-2933 memory for the Z8 G4; the processor sets the running speed (2933 MT/s with Gold 6200 and Platinum 8200, 2666 MT/s with Gold 5200, 2400 MT/s with Silver processors). HP supports up to 1.5TB with RDIMMs and up to 3TB with 128GB 3DS LRDIMMs (two processors); a one-processor system has 12 slots and half the capacity. RDIMMs and LRDIMMs cannot be mixed.
