NEMIX RAM memory upgrades for the HP Z4 G4 Workstation: DDR4-2933 PC4-23400 ECC Registered (RDIMM) modules, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, sold as single modules and matched kits of up to 8, selected as drop-in, compatibility-tested replacements. 1.2V, 288-pin, JEDEC-compliant.
The HP Z4 G4 Workstation is built for an Intel Xeon W-2100/W-2200 or Intel Core X-series processor. It has 8 DDR4 DIMM slots and supports up to 512GB with 64GB RDIMMs. HP lists DDR4-2933 memory for the Z4 G4; the processor sets the running speed (2933 MT/s with Xeon W-2200, 2666 MT/s with most W-2100 models). With a Xeon W processor the Z4 G4 takes registered ECC memory (RDIMM) only; 64GB RDIMMs need a Xeon W-2200 processor.
