NEMIX RAM memory upgrades for the Dell PowerEdge R730: DDR4-2400 PC4-19200 ECC Registered (RDIMM) modules, 8GB to 32GB, sold as single modules and matched kits of up to 16, selected as drop-in, compatibility-tested replacements. 1.2V, 288-pin, JEDEC-compliant.
The PowerEdge R730 is a 13th-generation rack server for up to two Intel Xeon E5-2600 v3 or v4 processors. It has 24 DDR4 DIMM slots and supports up to 768GB with 32GB RDIMMs or 3TB with 128GB LRDIMMs. Dell rates it for DDR4-2400; with v3 processors the memory runs at 2133 MT/s. This server takes DDR4 ECC Registered (RDIMM) or Load-Reduced (LRDIMM) memory; do not mix RDIMMs and LRDIMMs, and unbuffered UDIMMs will not work. Install identical modules in matched sets, in the slot order Dell gives for each processor, and use one module size throughout.
