NEMIX RAM memory upgrades for the Dell PowerEdge R230: DDR4-2400 PC4-19200 ECC Unbuffered (ECC UDIMM) modules, 8GB to 16GB, sold as single modules and matched kits of up to 4, selected as drop-in, compatibility-tested replacements. 1.2V, 288-pin, JEDEC-compliant.
The PowerEdge R230 is a 13th-generation single-socket rack server for one Intel Xeon E3-1200 v5 or v6 processor (or a Core i3, Pentium or Celeron processor). It has 4 DDR4 DIMM slots and supports up to 64GB of memory with 16GB ECC UDIMMs. Dell rates it for DDR4-2400 ECC Unbuffered DIMMs; with a Xeon E3-1200 v5 processor the memory runs at 2133 MT/s. This server takes DDR4 ECC Unbuffered memory (ECC UDIMM); registered RDIMMs and LRDIMMs will not work. Install identical modules in matched sets, in the slot order Dell gives for each processor, and use one module size throughout.
