With 1st Gen processors, Lenovo supports standard RDIMMs up to 32GB; choose the 16GB or 32GB modules, as the 64GB and 128GB modules require 2nd Gen processors. Lenovo positions the ThinkSystem SR860 as a 4U, four-socket server for in-memory databases, SAP HANA and GPU-accelerated analytics. This platform takes registered ECC memory (RDIMM) only; unbuffered UDIMMs will not work.
