NEMIX RAM memory upgrades for the HP Z240 SFF Workstation: DDR4-2400 PC4-19200 non-ECC Unbuffered (UDIMM) modules, 8GB and 16GB, sold as single modules and matched kits of up to 4, selected as drop-in, compatibility-tested replacements. 1.2V, 288-pin, JEDEC-compliant.
The HP Z240 SFF Workstation is built for an Intel Xeon E3-1200 v5/v6 or 6th/7th Gen Intel Core processor. It has 4 DDR4 DIMM slots and supports up to 64GB. HP lists DDR4-2400 memory for the Z240; it runs at 2400 MT/s with Xeon E3-1200 v6 and 7th Gen Core processors and at 2133 MT/s with Xeon E3-1200 v5 and 6th Gen Core processors. HP offers this workstation with ECC or non-ECC memory. ECC memory works with Xeon E3, Core i3 and Pentium processors; Core i5 and i7 processors run non-ECC memory only.
