Description
NEMIX RAM memory upgrades for the Fujitsu PRIMERGY TX2550 M5: DDR4-2933 PC4-23400 ECC Load-Reduced (LRDIMM) modules, 64GB, sold as single modules and matched kits of up to 12, selected as drop-in, compatibility-tested replacements. 1.2V, 288-pin, JEDEC-compliant. The modules match the specifications of Fujitsu memory option S26361-F4083-E464 (64GB).
The PRIMERGY TX2550 M5 is a dual-socket tower server (rack-convertible, 4U) for up to two 2nd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors. It has 12 DDR4 DIMM slots and supports up to 768GB with 64GB RDIMMs or 768GB with 64GB LRDIMMs. Fujitsu rates it for DDR4-2933 memory. The memory runs at the speed the processor supports: 2933 MT/s with Gold 6200 and Platinum 8200, 2666 MT/s with Gold 5200, 2400 MT/s with Silver 4200 and 2133 MT/s with Bronze 3200 processors, and Fujitsu states the speed does not drop at two DIMMs per channel. This server takes DDR4 ECC Registered (RDIMM) or Load-Reduced (LRDIMM) memory; Fujitsu does not allow mixing RDIMMs and LRDIMMs, and unbuffered UDIMMs will not work. LRDIMMs are the route to the maximum capacity. Install identical modules in matched sets, in the slot order Fujitsu gives for each processor, and use one module size throughout.
