NEMIX RAM memory upgrades for the Fujitsu PRIMERGY CX2560 M5: DDR4-2933 PC4-23400 ECC Load-Reduced (LRDIMM) modules, 64GB, sold as single modules and matched kits of up to 16, selected as drop-in, compatibility-tested replacements. 1.2V, 288-pin, JEDEC-compliant.
The PRIMERGY CX2560 M5 is a 1U half-wide dual-socket server node for the PRIMERGY CX400 M4 chassis for up to two 2nd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors. It has 16 DDR4 DIMM slots and supports up to 512GB with 32GB RDIMMs or 1TB with 64GB LRDIMMs. Memory capacity and slot count are per node; order one set for each node you upgrade. Fujitsu rates it for DDR4-2933 memory. The memory runs at the speed the processor supports: 2933 MT/s with Gold 6200 and Platinum 8200, 2666 MT/s with Gold 5200, 2400 MT/s with Silver 4200 and 2133 MT/s with Bronze 3200 processors; at two DIMMs per channel the speed can drop one step. This server takes DDR4 ECC Registered (RDIMM) or Load-Reduced (LRDIMM) memory; Fujitsu does not allow mixing RDIMMs and LRDIMMs, and unbuffered UDIMMs will not work. LRDIMMs are the route to the maximum capacity. Install identical modules in matched sets, in the slot order Fujitsu gives for each processor, and use one module size throughout.
