NEMIX RAM memory upgrades for the Dell PowerEdge XR8720t Rack Server: DDR5-6400 ECC Registered (RDIMM) modules from 16GB to 96GB, sold as single modules and matched kits of up to 8, selected as drop-in, compatibility-tested replacements. 1.1V, 288-pin, JEDEC-compliant. This system runs one Intel Xeon 6 SoC processor, with 8 DDR5 DIMM slots on XCC processors (up to 768GB) or 4 DDR5 DIMM slots on HCC processors (up to 384GB), supporting 96GB RDIMMs at the top of the range. Dell rates the platform at DDR5-6400. Kits of 8 apply to XCC configurations; HCC configurations take up to 4 modules. Dell positions the PowerEdge XR8720t as a rugged, single-socket 17th-generation edge server for telecom and enterprise edge deployments. This platform takes registered ECC memory (RDIMM) only; unbuffered UDIMMs will not work. Use one module size and type throughout the server, and populate memory in the balanced groups Dell specifies for each processor.
