NEMIX RAM memory upgrades for the Cisco UCS B200 M5 Blade Server: ECC Load-Reduced (LRDIMM) modules from 64GB to 256GB, available at DDR4 2933MHz PC4-23400, selected as drop-in, compatibility-tested replacements. This system runs dual 1st or 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors with 24 DDR4 DIMM slots (12 per processor, up to two DIMMs per channel). Total capacity depends on the processor's memory tier: up to 1TB per processor on standard 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable models, 2TB on M models and 4.5TB on L models. Cisco rates the platform at DDR4-2933 with 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors; 1st Gen processors run memory at up to 2666 MT/s. With 1st Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors, choose the 64GB LRDIMM; the 128GB and 256GB LRDIMMs require 2nd Gen processors. Cisco positions the UCS B200 M5 Blade Server for UCS 5108 blade chassis deployments and virtualization. The platform accepts either RDIMM or LRDIMM modules but the two cannot be mixed: match the type already installed, or see the RDIMM listing for this system.
