Platform: a single Intel Xeon E3-1200 v5/v6 or 6th/7th Gen Intel Core (LGA 1151) processor, 4 DDR4 DIMM slots, supporting up to 64GB with 16GB modules. ECC operation requires a Xeon processor. ASUS rates memory on this platform at up to DDR4-2400; these DDR4-3200 modules run at the speed the platform supports.
