This system runs one Intel Xeon E-2300 or Pentium processor with 4 DDR4 ECC UDIMM slots (two channels with two DIMMs per channel), supporting up to 128GB of memory. Lenovo rates the platform at DDR4-3200 with Xeon E-2300 processors; Pentium processors run memory at 2666 MT/s. Lenovo positions the ThinkSystem ST250 V2 as a single-socket tower server for small and remote offices. This platform takes ECC unbuffered memory (ECC UDIMM) only; registered RDIMMs and non-ECC desktop modules will not work. Install identical modules in matched pairs for dual-channel operation.
