NEMIX RAM memory upgrades for the Cisco UCS B480 M5 Blade Server: ECC Load-Reduced (LRDIMM) modules from 64GB to 128GB, available at DDR4 2933MHz PC4-23400, selected as drop-in, compatibility-tested replacements. This system runs four 1st/2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors with 48 DDR4 DIMM slots (up to two DIMMs per channel), supporting up to 6TB of memory. Cisco rates the platform at DDR4-2933 with 2nd Gen and DDR4-2666 with 1st Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors. Cisco positions the UCS B480 M5 Blade Server for in-memory databases and mission-critical 4-socket workloads. The platform accepts either LRDIMM or RDIMM modules but the two cannot be mixed: match the type already installed, or see the RDIMM listing for this system.
