Rules that apply across these towers

  • Match the generation. DDR5 and DDR4 UDIMMs are keyed differently and will not fit each other's slots.
  • Install matched modules. Identical modules in pairs run in dual-channel mode; the larger towers take four.
  • Respect the maximum. Each listing is built up to the maximum Acer lists for the family, and no further.
  • The processor sets the speed. Acer does not publish a module speed on its US site, so modules run at the speed the processor and module count support.

Frequently asked

What memory does an Acer Veriton tower take?
The Veriton towers listed here use non-ECC unbuffered DDR5 UDIMM, except the Veriton 6000 Mid Tower, which Acer lists with DDR4. Each listing states the memory type and the maximum Acer lists for that family.

Can I upgrade a Veriton NUC, Veriton Mini or Veriton AI workstation?
Not these. The Veriton NUC AI and the Veriton AI mini workstations (GN100, RA100, RA110, RI110) use memory soldered to the board or package, so they are not listed.

Does Acer publish the memory speed or slot count?
Not on its US site. The listings use DDR5-5600 UDIMM (DDR4-3200 for the Veriton 6000 Mid Tower), which runs at the speed the processor and the number of modules installed support. Check the label on your tower for the exact model.

Which Veriton towers are not listed yet?
The Veriton 6000 Compact Tower and Veriton 2000 Compact Tower are not listed yet, because Acer does not say whether they take UDIMM or SODIMM. Send us your model and we will confirm what fits.

How do I find my model?
The model name and part number are on the label on the tower and in the Windows system information. Veriton Vero and standard Veriton towers share series numbers, so use the full name.
