NEMIX RAM memory upgrades for the Lenovo ThinkSystem SN850 Compute Node: DDR4-2933 ECC Registered (RDIMM) modules from 16GB to 128GB, sold as single modules and matched kits of up to 12, selected as drop-in, compatibility-tested replacements. 1.2V, 288-pin, JEDEC-compliant. This compute node runs two or four 1st or 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors with 48 low-profile DDR4 DIMM slots (12 per processor), supporting up to 6TB of memory with 128GB 3DS RDIMMs. Lenovo rates the platform at DDR4-2933 with 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors; 1st Gen processors, and some lower-tier 2nd Gen models, run memory at up to 2666 MT/s. These DDR4-2933 modules clock down automatically. With 1st Gen processors, Lenovo supports standard RDIMMs up to 32GB; choose the 16GB or 32GB modules, as the 64GB and 128GB modules require 2nd Gen processors. The ThinkSystem SN850 is a four-socket, double-wide compute node for the Lenovo Flex System Enterprise Chassis. This platform takes registered ECC memory (RDIMM) only; unbuffered UDIMMs will not work. Use one module size and type throughout the server, and populate memory in the matched groups Lenovo specifies for each processor.
