The Dell PowerEdge R940 supports Up to four 2nd Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors, up to 28 cores each and up to 6TB of DDR4-2933 memory utilizing NEMIX RAM RDIMMs or LRDIMMs . To reach the maximum memory upgrade it is necesarry to install LRDIMMs.
