THINKMATE Supermicro Server Memory: SuperServer, GPU, Twin & Storage
125 products
Showing 121 - 125 of 125 products
Memory upgrades for Supermicro systems configured and sold by Thinkmate. Each listing covers one Supermicro system (and its motherboard where Supermicro names it), using the memory type, speed and module size that platform needs. The fastest way to find yours is to type the model number into the search bar at the top of the page, for example SYS-221BT-HNR, SYS-420GP-TNR, SSG-521E-E1CR24H or SYS-111AD-HN2. The model number is on the system label and on your Thinkmate order confirmation.
Find memory by Supermicro family
SuperServer rackmount systems: Hyper, CloudDC and mainstream 1U/2U servers for Intel Xeon and AMD EPYC.
GPU SuperServer: multi-GPU systems such as the SYS-420GP-TNR.
Multi-node systems: BigTwin, GrandTwin and TwinPro, such as the SYS-221BT-HNR and SYS-211GT-HNC8R. Populate each node the same way.
Storage SuperServer (SSG): storage-dense systems such as the SSG-521E.
IoT and edge SuperServers: compact systems such as the SYS-111AD-HN2 and SYS-E100 series; some take SODIMM.
SuperWorkstation: tower workstations such as the SYS-551A-T and SYS-531A-IL.
Which memory does my Supermicro system use?
DDR5 ECC RDIMM: most current systems, DDR5-6400 or DDR5-5600 depending on the processor generation. See DDR5 RDIMM.
DDR4 ECC RDIMM: earlier Xeon Scalable and EPYC systems such as the SYS-420GP-TNR and SYS-1029TP-DC1R. See DDR4 RDIMM.
DDR5 ECC UDIMM: single-socket entry servers, IoT systems and workstations. Some also accept non-ECC; where they do, both listings are here. See DDR5 ECC UDIMM.
Match the module type (RDIMM or UDIMM) and generation (DDR4 or DDR5) to what is already installed, use identical modules, and populate every memory channel evenly on each processor for full bandwidth. A faster module runs at the speed the processor supports, which is normal. Not sure which module fits? Send us your Supermicro model number or the part number of the module you have installed, and we will confirm the right module before you order.
