Memory never runs faster than the processor's memory bus allows. This server takes DDR3 ECC Registered (RDIMM) or Load-Reduced (LRDIMM) memory; Fujitsu does not allow mixing RDIMMs and LRDIMMs, and unbuffered UDIMMs will not work. LRDIMMs are the route to the maximum capacity.
