Memory runs at up to 1600 MT\/s at one or two DIMMs per channel, slower with three per channel, and never faster than the processor's memory bus allows. This server takes DDR3 ECC Registered (RDIMM) or Load-Reduced (LRDIMM) memory; Fujitsu does not allow mixing RDIMMs and LRDIMMs, and unbuffered UDIMMs will not work.
